Summary
Under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Nurse Practitioner, the Medical Assistant CMA/RMA/CNA provides care and companionship to our patients while also assisting our world-class comprehensive care team. The Medical Assistant CMA/MA/CNA will perform patient care activities and related services needed to provide the best patient care while maintaining a high standard for comfort and safety. Must abide by HIPAA regulations with patient confidentiality.

The Medical Assistant CMA/MA/CNA will perform patient care activities and related services needed to provide the best patient care while maintaining a high standard for comfort and safety. Qualifications:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- One of the following required:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA),
- or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification awarded by the American Medical Technologists,
- or Current on the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry
- Minimum of six months experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as patient transfers and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Functions
- Assist with patient transfers such as into and out of the building, wheelchairs, and restrooms as needed
- Attend to patients while they are receiving treatment such as making sure they are comfortable, helping them with personal cares in the restroom, providing them with water and blankets.
- Deliver labs to the hospital as needed
- Willingness to participate and help with clinic events and programs
- Other duties as assigned
